Castle View B&B is in a stunning scenic location close to the Wild Atlantic Way. Lough Gill, where Castle View is situated, is connected to the Atlantic via the Garavogue river which flows through Sligo town and into Sligo Bay. The journey is entirely navigable and the Rose of Innisfree Waterbus travels the route in the summmer months.
The Wild Atlantic Way is the longest continuous way marked coastal drive in the world. Spannning 7 counties in the west of Ireland, it is well signposted and offers great sightseeing opportunities.
The scenic Sligo and Leitrim coastlines form the north western part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Mullaghmore Head, one of the “Signature Points” of the Wild Atlantic Way is 30 minutes drive from Castle View B&B.
